The purpose of FiBS is to help companies in finding competitive advantage from responsibility: discover new angles into business and increase conspicuousness as a responsible pioneer among clients, investors, job seekers and other stakeholder groups.

We offer our members information about research done in the field, tools and best practices, peer support through a professional and diverse member base, contacts to decision makers and influencers of the field through the collaborative partners of FiBS and visibility to members’ own responsibility practices on the FiBS website, magazine, newsletters and events.

The member benefits include:

(1)  Events (in Finnish)

All employees of FiBS’ member organizations can attend the association’s events. With respect to the smaller events (max. 60 participants) the limit for attendees per organization is 4. Members can propose ideas for themes as well as cooperate as partners by participating in the planning and/or execution of events by, for example, providing facilities to be used for an event.

(2)  Information and communication channels

Members can take advantage of the FiBS website, newsletters and magazine to communicate their own responsibility related news.

(3)  Tools

FiBS collects information about the central tools (directions, agreements, indicators etc.) to be used by its members. FiBS also localizes tools and develops new ones according to the wishes and proposals of its members. Members can also take part in the development of new tools on the practical level as a financer and/or to develop their CR know-how and build their reputation as a pioneer and influencer in the area.

(4)  Development projects in CR

FiBS takes part in several official and unoffical networks, as well as work- and steering groups. In addition, FiBS closely follows the activities of its international partners. Members thus have the opportunity to gain information about forthcoming development projects in the field, as well as, influence th econtent (substance) these projects.

All organizations aiming to promote responsibility in their own operations can become members of the FiBS network.
